Get Ready to be Career Ready

ages 16-18
5:30 pm- 7:00 pm
The line up: 15 speakers to come in and talk about their career and have students ask questions
Participants will complete
• A cover letter
• A resume
• Develop and elevator Pitch
• Career Assessment
• Mock Interview
Learning Objectives
At the end of the program participants will:
• Have an opportunity to learn about various career paths that may be of interest to them
• Develop a strategy for their own job search
• Learn what the soft skills that employers are looking for and ways to develop those soft skills
Each student who completes the program has an opportunity to interview with the Work Ready Program, Acme, ShopRite , and other Stakeholders in the community in the Spring of 2021. Our participants will also participate in a Job Fair with the objective of gaining employment.
